BULLS AT SPURS, 9:30 P.M. ET

TV: ESPN

  • Tony Parker had a short question-and-answer time outside the Spurs locker room regarding the divorce filing between him and Eva Longoria. “It’s a difficult time right now for me and Eva,” Parker said. “Everything else is our private life.” When asked to comment on reports that Parker was involved with the wife of a former teammate, Parker said “That’s my private life. I’m having great support from my teammates and my coaches, and I’m focused 100 percent on the Spurs and trying to win basketball games.”
  • Gregg Popovich was just about as brief in his remarks regarding Parker’s situation. “This is a difficult situation for everyone obviously,” he said. “But Eva and Tony are two people that we love and care about, and we wish them both the best as they move through this. That’s really all I have to say about it.”
  • Taj Gibson struggled through a 1-of-9 shooting night on Tuesday for the Bulls and Rockets forward Luis Scola shot 11-of-17 against Chicago, but those stats were not the sole reason Gibson played less than 30 minutes in Houston. “I thought our bench came in and played well,” coach Tom Thibodeau said. “Omer (Asik) and Lu (Luol Deng) at the four helped us. I thought Scola was catching the ball deep, and I thought Lu did a good job of getting in front of him and making his catch a little harder. Taj has played well for us all year. It was more of the way the group that was in there was playing.”
