JAZZ AT KINGS, 10 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • Andrei Kirilenko will start tonight after missing the past three games with a left ankle sprain. “I only missed three games, but still, it feels like a lot,” Kirilenko said in a pregame interview.  Utah forward Mehmet Okur did not travel and will miss his sixth consecutive game with a lower back strain.
  • Deron Williams has bounced back well from his injury, tallying 23 assists in his past two games after missing four consecutive games with a wrist injury.
  • Jason Thompson will return to the Kings’ starting lineup tonight after missing two games with a sprained right ankle.
  • Utah allowed 121 points in a home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. Utah head coach Jerry Sloan, whose contract was extended through next season as announced today on NBA.com, said his team’s recent struggles have come because of the team’s defensive woes. “We haven’t done a very good job defensively,” Sloan said in his pregame interview with reporters. “We’ve been kind of confused, you might say, trying to understand what we’re doing. I don’t think we’re getting great effort on the defensive end of the floor.”
