- Utah allowed 121 points in a home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. Utah head coach Jerry Sloan, whose contract was extended through next season as announced today on NBA.com, said his team’s recent struggles have come because of the team’s defensive woes. “We haven’t done a very good job defensively,” Sloan said in his pregame interview with reporters. “We’ve been kind of confused, you might say, trying to understand what we’re doing. I don’t think we’re getting great effort on the defensive end of the floor.”
