SPURS AT GRIZZLIES, 8 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • The Spurs have guard Kawhi Leonard listed as the starting shooting guard, but don’t be surprised if he is replaced in the lineup by Gary Neal, who is coming off a 19-point effort in Sunday’s 101-100 overtime loss at Dallas, in which he nearly led the Spurs to a victory.
  • Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins quickly corrected a report by Yahoo! Sports that said Hollins stated forward Zach Randolph could miss the rest of the season. According to Hollins, what he said was taken out of context. “All I said was … I’m not paying attention to Zach,” Hollins said. “When he comes back, and if he comes back, then we’ll worry about Zach. I’m concerned about the players we have now. I’d love for Zach to be back and I want him to come back and hopefully he will be back in the timetable they said. If the guy wants to quote me, I don’t mind, but don’t just put a part of my quote in the paper. That’s what he did.”
  • The Grizzlies are looking to snap their second three-game losing streak of the season. Poor shooting has been the culprit in their latest skid as the team has shot just .388 from the field since having their season-high seven-game winning streak snapped. During the winning streak, they shot .496 from the floor.
  • The Spurs have assigned forward Malcolm Thomas to the NBA Development League.
