- The Nuggets will again be without forward Wilson Chandler, who will miss his 10th straight game while recovering from offseason surgery on his left hip. Chandler most likely will not accompany the team on its five-game road trip that starts Wednesday in Toronto. Chandler has played in just three of Denver’s 17 games so far this season.
- Raptors forward Linas Kleiza will miss the game with a sore left hip. “He’s pretty sore, he’s had a hard time moving and walking and he had an MRI this afternoon,” Toronto coach Dwane Casey said. “I don’t know what the results are for that.” Kleiza, who played four years for Denver, has had some success against his former team.
- Denver coach George Karl said his team’s confidence level is good despite two close road losses and a blowout loss at the Lakers. “It’s really good. It’s a lot better than you think it is,” he said. “We understand that the Golden State and the Utah games were our fault as much as probably their faults. The L.A. game, whoever would have played L.A. that night probably would have lost.”
