BUCKS AT SPURS, 8:30 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • There had been hope that Danny Green would be able to play tonight despite the left hamstring tightness that limited his play Saturday (0-for-7 in 19 minutes). But Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Green will not play and that 6-foot-8 Boris Diaw will start at small forward. Diaw started the season playing at the five spot and also has played four. “He’s played the three before [too],” Popovich said.
  • Backup point guard Patty Mills can be added to the Spurs’ growing injury list after he suffered a right ankle sprain today at shootaround. So, in addition to Green and Mills, Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson will continue to miss action. Popovich said Leonard, who was expected to return in the Saturday victory over Memphis, has not returned to basketball drills and is continuing with conditioning work only.
  • Mike Dunleavy returned to action for the Bucks on Monday at New Orleans after missing one game because of a left knee bruise, but he will also miss tonight’s game. “It was really sore after the game the other night and he said he couldn’t go yesterday in practice,” coach Scott Skiles said. “He went out and tried to loosen it up but he had a hard time cutting on it.” The Bucks also are without Beno Urdrih, who will miss his third game because of a right ankle sprain.
