- Brooklyn native and coach of the Warriors, Mark Jackson, was in a sentimental mood before his first game at Barclays Center. “A few blocks away, there’s a McDonald’s that we used to go to after every home game in high school, and we drove past it and it just brought back some great memories,” he said.
- The Warriors torched the Nets in the second half of their encounter in Oakland two weeks ago. “We didn’t do a good job on their perimeter guys,” Nets coach Avery Johnson said of the loss. “We didn’t do a job on David Lee. And both of their perimeter guys, [Stephen] Curry and [Klay] Thompson had big nights in Detroit two nights ago.”
