76ers at Mavericks, 8:30 p.m. ET

TV: League Pass

  • Sixers point guard Jrue Holiday will miss his third straight game with a sprained left foot, according to head coach Doug Collins. Collins said Holiday could return tomorrow in Houston.
  • The Mavericks could be without their starting point guard, too. Head coach Rick Carlisle said Derek Fisher would be out with the flu, although Fisher told reporters in the locker room that he might try to play through it. If he can’t go, Darren Collison would move back into the starting lineup.
  • Dallas forward Elton Brand is a game-time decision against his former team due to a groin injury, Carlisle said. Brand played the last four seasons in Philadelphia.
  • The 76ers took the first meeting this season, 100-98, on Nov. 27 in Philadelphia. They haven’t swept the season series against the Mavericks since 1999-2000 and have dropped six straight in Dallas.
