TV: League Pass
- Cleveland has lost four straight games and nine of their past ten overall, despite the recent return of their star point guard Kyrie Irving to the starting lineup over the past five games. Irving has recovered from a finger injury which sidelined him for more than a month.
- Anderson Varejao will not play tonight for the Cavs, as he continues to be bothered by a knee injury. Byron Scott had yet to indicate which player will take Varejao’s spot in the starting five, although rookie Tyler Zeller appears to be a likely candidate. Daniel Gibson expects to play and come off the bench for Cleveland despite an ailing right elbow.
- In the midst of a three-game losing streak, Doc Rivers has decided to shake things up with Boston’s starting lineup. Jason Terry will start at shooting guard, replacing Courtney Lee who has started the last three games. Additionally, center Jason Collins will make his first start of the season at the center position, pushing Kevin Garnett back to the power forward spot for the first time all season. Brandon Bass will come off the bench for Boston.
