- The Toronto Raptors (12-20) seek their fourth straight win, and sixth in a row at home against the Sacramento Kings (12-20) on Friday night. - The Kings ended a seven-game road skid with a 97-94 victory over Cleveland on Wednesday, while the Raptors have won eight of their last nine, defeating Portland 102-79 on Wednesday.
- Far from a distraction, DeMarcus Cousins has averaged 16.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.3 steals in the four games since he was suspended for unprofessional behavior and conduct detrimental to the team.
- Out of the lineup for the Kings: Marcus Thornton, (ankle) and Tyreke Evans, (knee). For the Raptors: Jonas Valanciunas, (hand) Andrea Bargnani, (wrist) and Linas Kleiza (knee).
