TV: League Pass

  • Nets forward Kris Humphries is available to play against the 76ers after missing the previous two games with a sprained left ankle. Humphries is averaging 7.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
  • Nets reserve guard-forward Jerry Stackhouse, however, is out for personal reasons.
  • The Nets are 5-1 since P.J. Carlesimo took over as interim coach for Avery Johnson. In those last six games, the Nets are averaging 101.8 points per game, 7.3 more than their season average.
  • Nets center Brook Lopez is the only player in the NBA averaging at least 18 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots per game.
  • The Sixers will be without backup center Kwame Brown because of a death in the family.
  • About two hours before tipoff, the Sixers announced they had signed guard Maalik Wayns to a 10-day contract. Wayns signed as a free agent with the Sixers on July 31 and was waived on Jan. 6. In 20 games for the Sixers this season, Wayns had been averaging 2.5 points and one assist in 7.8 minutes per game.
  • The Sixers returned home following a 2-6 road trip. They have now dropped three in a row, falling to 15-20 overall. “I’m concerned,” coach Doug Collins said. “We didn’t have much energy yesterday.”
  • The Sixers are 4-2 in games decided by four or fewer points this season after going 1-8 last season.
