GRIZZLIES AT SPURS, 8:30 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • Rudy Gay is expected to return to the Memphis starting lineup after missing the Grizzlies’ 99-73 loss to the Clippers on Monday. He was attending his grandmother’s funeral.
  • Manu Ginobili will miss tonight’s game because of the grade 1 left hamstring strain from the first half of the Spurs’ 106-88 victory over Minnesota on Sunday. He could miss as much as two weeks. Gary Neal is expected to get even more time off the San Antonio bench (and Tony Parker more time on the court after he starts), and Neal said the rotations likely will remain the same as the second half against the Timberwolves when Ginobili was sitting out. “If I was a smart man,” Neal said, “that would be my guess.”
  • Spurs coach Gregg Popovich had no comment regarding the class-action lawsuit brought against the team by a fan in Miami over Popovich’s decision to send Tim Duncan, Danny Green, Parker and Ginobili back to San Antonio rather than play in a road game earlier this season.
