BULLS AT CELTICS, 7 P.M. ET

TV: ESPN

  • Luol Deng (hamstring) told reporters he plans on playing against the Celtics tonight, despite being hampered with a right hamstring injury.
  • Avery Bradley was deemed unlikely to play tonight by head coach Doc Rivers after he suffered a rib injury during Wednesday’s loss against the New Orleans Hornets. Rivers was unsure who would start in Bradley’s place if Bradley could not go.
  • Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo both reacted with graciousness to the media upon the news they have been selected as starters to the All-Star game. Rivers also applauded the selection before the game. “”Both guys deserve it. Especially since Kevin didn’t make it last year, that he did make it now, that’s a pretty cool thing,” Rivers said.
