WARRIORS AT SPURS, 8:30 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • Stephen Curry will miss his second-straight game with a right ankle sprain. “We’ll give him another day of treatment and see how he responds tomorrow,” coach Mark Jackson said. “I’m not concerned about it at all. It’s a typical ankle sprain.”
  • Jarrett Jack gets his second start of the season in place of Curry at point guard, and he took a team-high 14 shots in 32 minutes (David Lee also played 32 minutes for the Warriors) and hit half of them with two assists to five turnovers in the 92-75 home loss to Miami.
  • Most people think about Stephen Jackson as an outside shooter or defender, but he reminded everyone he can pass as well when he dished out five assists in 23 1/2 minutes while filling in off the bench for the injured Manu Ginobili. Jackson had four of those in the Spurs’ 38-point second quarter. “He’s always been a good passer,” coach Gregg Popovich said. Ginobili could miss through next week with a left hamstring strain.
  • The Warriors remain with Andrew Bogut (left ankle) and Brandon Rush (left knee). Neither has been able to play more than four games this season.
