CAVALIERS AT RAPTORS, 7 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • The Toronto Raptors  surrendered their last three losses in overtime, and almost went there again on Thursday in Orlando. But DeMar DeRozan’s game-winning jumper at the end of regulation gave them a 97-95 win.
  • The Cleveland Cavaliers have won three of their last four games, including climbing out of a 20 point hole to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-108 on Friday. Kyrie Irving scored 35 points in the win and was named as a reserve for the Eastern Conference All-Star team the day before.
  • “It’s not just because he made the All-Star team, he was taking up time in our first game and even last year,” Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. “You spend a lot of time preparing for a guy like that because he has speed, quickness, savvy, shooting. He has the whole package.”
  • The Raptors have won six of their last eight meetings against the Cavaliers, and look to take a 2-0 lead in the season series in Toronto on Saturday night.
