HEAT AT NETS, 8 P.M. ET

TV: ESPN

  • Chris Bosh (sore toe) will play for the Heat. It is the first visit to Barclays Center for the defending champions.
  • Deron Williams (flu-like symptoms) is expected to play for the Nets, but Coach P.J. Carlesimo said before the game that he wasn’t sure at what level Williams would be able to compete.
  • Brook Lopez was named as the All-Star replacement for Rajon Rondo before the game.  ”It’s a huge honor,” Lopez said in a statement. “First and foremost, I couldn’t have done it without my teammates. They make my job 100 times easier. Playing with Deron, Joe [Johnson], Gerald [Wallace]; they gift-wrap me buckets. It’s something I’ve been working towards and it’s been a goal of mine. It will definitely be an exciting weekend.”
  • Miss America Mallory Hagan gave a press conference, as she will be singing the national anthem before the game. Hagan has lived in six different Brooklyn neighborhoods and said she grew up a basketball fan because of her father.
