  • For the Bulls, Joakim Noah (right foot) said he would not play and Carlos Boozer (right hamstring) is a gametime decision. Derrick Rose, who has yet to play this season, worked out on the court before the game. 
  • According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Bulls are 7-0 this season on Friday. The Bulls also hold an NBA-record 14 straight road wins on Friday dating back to April of 2011. 
  • Nets Coach P.J. Carlesimo compared playing the Bulls after the Heat to having multiple root canals in the same week. Carlesimo said that Deron Williams, who has recently battled the flu, will play normal minutes. “There’s a lot of guys in the league right now playing under the weather,” Carlesimo said.
