  • Hawks reserve center Zaza Pachulia will not play Wednesday against the Grizzlies, as he’ll miss his fourth consecutive game with a sore right Achilles’ tendon. Rarely-used Johan Petro, who had 10 points and two rebounds Tuesday in the Hawks’ loss in Indiana, may again see action as the backup to starter Al Horford.
  • DeShawn Stevenson’s balky knees will keep him out of the game against the Grizzlies as well, and Anthony Tolliver will start at small forward for Atlanta.
  • Devin Harris (sore foot) is expected to be available after missing Tuesday’s loss in Indiana, but he will not start at shooting guard.  Hawks coach Larry Drew will move Kyle Korver from the small forward spot into the back court.
  • With both teams coming off losses a night earlier (Memphis fell at home to the Suns), the Grizzlies still incorporating newcomers Tayshaun Prince and Ed Davis and dealing with ongoing trade rumors like the suggestion that Zach Randolph may be dealt, and the Hawks so beat up, Memphis coach Lionel Hollins said, “It’s going to be a matter of wills.”
