Thunder at Suns, 8 p.m. ET

TV: League Pass

  • These two teams played each other Friday night in Oklahoma City. The Suns hung with the Thunder until late in the first half (a 50-50 tie). From that point, the rout was on, with the Thunder rolling, 127-96.
  • Kendrick Perkins is coming off the Thunder-career high in scoring Friday, when he shot 8-for-9 for 17 points. Over the past five games, he’s shot 18-for-27. “We’re doing a better job of finding him, and he’s doing a better job of finding those openings,” coach Scott Brooks said.
  • Thunder guard Kevin Martin, who scored 16 points in 21 minutes as the sixth man Friday, is out for the Thunder with flu-like symptoms. The Suns are healthy.
  • Michael Beasley has averaged 16.1 points in the 10 games since the Suns changed from Alvin Gentry to Lindsey Hunter as the head coach. His shooting percentages have gone up as well: He is shooting 47.2 percent under Hunter compared to 37.6 percent beforehand; free throws have gone from 72.3 to 94.4 percent; and 3-pointers have gone from 31.6 to 40 percent.
