TV: League Pass

  • The Toronto Raptors (22-32) will face the Memphis Grizzlies (34-18) for the first time since a six-player, three-team trade three weeks ago. The key player in that deal, Rudy Gay, is averaging 21.2 points per game since, with the Raptors 6-2, winning five in a row and recently defeating Washington 96-88 on Tuesday.
  • While the Raptors are looking for their first six-game winning streak since March 22-April 4, 2009, the Grizzlies are vying for their fifth straight, after defeating Detroit 105-91 on Tuesday. Memphis is 5-3 since the trade as forward Ed Davis will be back in Toronto for the first time to face the team that drafted him.
  • “You always want to do well when you go back and face your old team. It doesn’t change anything, but it makes you feel good to go and put it on them.”
    – Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins on players facing their old teams.

– Duane Watson
