WIZARDS AT RAPTORS, 7 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • The Toronto Raptors (23-33) are a new team with Rudy Gay. They’re looking for their seventh win in eight games at Air Canada Centre, versus Washington on Monday night. Gay scored a season-high 32 points on Friday in a 100-98 win over the New York Knicks.
  • The Washington Wizards (17-37) are also playing much improved basketball, with the return of guard John Wall. After beating the Houston Rockets at home 105-103 on Saturday, they have won six of their last eight and are looking to bounce back after losing to Toronto 96-88 last Tuesday.
  • “I just think it was a process of us getting guys healthy and coming back in, obviously, John (Wall) being one of those guys. What he can do and keeping the pace of the game up for us, we got to be a team that has pace to the game and he’s done a good job of it.”
–Wizards Head Coach Randy Wittman on his team’s turnaround.
  • Raptors guard Sebastian Telfair will be available for Monday’s game after being acquired from Phoenix at the trade deadline. Toronto sent center Hamed Hadaddi and a protected second-round draft pick to the Suns.
