Kings at Heat, 7:30 p.m. ET

TV: League Pass

  • Heat forward Shane Battier will not play because of a sore hamstring. Coach Erik Spoelstra said Battier could play if needed, but would prefer to rest him two days before playing Memphis Friday.
  • Without Battier, the Heat are likely to turn to Rashard Lewis and Chris Andersen. Both are expected to log more minutes than usual.
  • The Heat have won a season-high 11 straight games. They are just three shy of the franchise record of 14 set in 2004-05.
  • The last time the teams met Heat guard Mario Chalmers tied the franchise record with 10 3-pointers.
  • Center Cole Aldrich is inactive for the Kings.
  • Sacramento, which has lost five straight, has dropped eight consecutive on the road. The Heat are the league’s best home team at 24-3.
  • The bright for the Kings has been DeMarcus Cousins, who is averaging 17.5 points and 10.8 rebounds the past three games.
