TV: League Pass
- Tony Parker (right triceps soreness) is expected to return to action tonight after missing Sunday’s 97-87 victory at Phoenix on Sunday. Last time he played against the Suns (108-99 win at home in January), Parker went 13-for-17 for 31 points and seven assists.
- Gary Neal (left calf tightness) will miss tonight’s game for San Antonio. He was inactive on Sunday. “He’ll be out for a couple of games more,” coach Gregg Popovich said. “He hasn’t been very forthcoming about (the injury). He’s been trying to play through it.”
- Michael Beasley hasn’t played more than 20 minutes in a game since Feb. 19 — he played only 3 1/2 minutes against the Spurs on Sunday — and Suns coach Lindsey Hunter wants more from Beasley on the defensive end. “It’s about his assignments defensively and being aggressive,” Hunter said. “He’s struggling right now, more mentally. But I won’t change for one guy. When he’s two or three steps slow on his assignment or doesn’t recognize a rotation, it’s hard on everybody.”
- This will be the first home game for the Spurs (45-13) since Feb. 2. San Antonio went 7-2 in those road games since then. The team’s 22-2 record at home is a league best, and the 18-straight wins at home is third-best in franchise history.
