- LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are all expected to play. Coach Erik Spoelstra said it is likely they will play limited minutes, with just two games remaining before the postseason.
- Udonis Haslem (ankle) and Shane Battier (knee) will not play. Both continue to rest nagging injuries, and likely won’t return the remainder of the season. The Heat close with games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic.
- Taj Gibson (knee) will not play for the Bulls. It means Chicago is without four key players, including Joakim Noah, Richard Hamilton and Derrick Rose.
- Hamilton is serving a one-game suspension for a flagrant foul he committed on Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan. Coach Tom Thibodeau said, “It was a tough call because there was a lot of grabbing and holding on that play.”
