KINGS AT THUNDER, 8 P.M. ET

TV:  League Pass

  • Thunder center Kendrick Perkins (hamstring) and sixth man Kevin Martin (sore lower back) will not play tonight and will miss their second straight game. Neither practiced this morning. The injuries aren’t believed to be serious and both players should be fine for the playoffs.
  • Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will be in the lineup tonight. He was given his 16th technical foul of the season last night which earns an automatic suspension, but the NBA rescinded the technical earlier today clearing the way for Cousins to play. He is the Kings leading scorer averaging 16.9 points per game but in Sacramento’s two games, both losses, against OKC the Thunder held him to 12.0 ppg on 32.1 percent shooting. “Hey it’s all good now,” a relieved King’s head coach Keith Smart told reporters in the back hallway, “It’s always great to have a good player on the floor and he can do an awful lot of things.”
  • A win tonight by the Thunder will clinch the top seed for the Western Conference playoffs and will be the fourth 60-win season in franchise history and the first since the team moved to Oklahoma City from Seattle.
  • The Thunder have won three straight and nine of their last 11 games. The Kings have lost two straight and six of their last seven. OKC is 11-1 in its last dozen games against Sacramento.
