  • Former Knick sensation Jeremy Lin returns to New York hot on the heels of an impressive night in which he went for 34 points, making a career-best nine 3-pointers, in Houston’s 123-117 OT loss to the Sixers. “Sure, he’s advanced,” Knicks coach Mike Woodson said. “He’s a better player. He had his ups and downs when he went to Houston, but he’s starting to come into his own now as a player.”
  • The Knicks will start J.R. Smith at shooting guard for the second straight night. Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert, Carrmelo Anthony and Andrea Bargnani also start.
