THUNDER AT RAPTORS, 7 P.M. ET

TV: League Pass

  • Both teams will have players returning to the starting line-ups. Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas is back after missing one game with a lower back strain and Thunder guard Russell Westbrook was rested in the previous game (knee) at Cleveland. Patrick Patterson will miss his seventh straight game with a right ulnar collateral sprain and a decision will be made in a week when he will return to action.
  • Toronto handed Oklahoma it’s first home loss of the season on December 22. In the 105-98 win, the Raptors rallied from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter. The Thunder will be playing their second night of back-to-back. They are 6-4 on the second game this season.
  • “He’s consistent, his message is the same to the players every day. He believes in teamwork, tough defensive-minded basketball and that’s what makes them a tough team to beat.”
    – Thunder coach Scott Brooks on Raptors coach Dwane Casey‘s success.

– Duane Watson
