JAZZ AT NUGGETS, 9 P.M. ET

  • Despite being out for the season while recovering from knee surgery, Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari was in uniform tonight night against Utah. “It was something he asked if he could do,” Denver coach Brian Shaw said. “When you’re injured, you’re on the team but you don’t really feel like part of the team. I don’t see it being a problem.”
  • Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler (left groin strain) also was in uniform after missing 10 straight games; Shaw said he would be available to play against Utah. Point guard Ty Lawson (left ankle sprain) missed his fourth game in a row, but Shaw hopes he can return for one of Denver’s final two games.
  • Jazz forward  Marvin Williams (left knee bone bruise) did not make the trip to Denver and will be evaluated again before Utah plays its home finale Monday against the Los Angeles Lakers. “Marvin is a tremendous guy,” Utah coach Tyrone Corbin said. “We have to watch him because he will try and push himself through, and we have to make sure we’re doing the right thing by him.”
  • Jazz guard Alec Burks has scored in double figures in each of his past 26 games. He had a career-high 34 points against the Nuggets on Jan. 13.
